The 36 hardwood blocks are the perfect weight for little hands, and my daughter already points out the letters she recognizes. They've survived plenty of drops onto the kitchen floor without a single chip.

My nephew has been stacking and knocking these down for weeks and they've barely got a scratch. The letters are painted on, not stickers, so nothing peels off when they end up in his mouth.

The hardwood feels really solid, not like those flimsy plastic sets, and the letters are painted on clean enough that a toddler won't chip them off easily. I grabbed this for my nephew and the parents already texted me that he's obsessed with stacking the numbers, which makes me look like a genius.
