Got this for my nephew and honestly the parents loved it as much as he did. The hardwood has a nice weight to it and no splintering edges, unlike the cheap plastic ones I tried before. At 9 months he just waves it around like a little guitar hero.

My 8-month-old gnaws on the neck of this thing for ages, way longer than the plastic rings she got bored of. The hardwood has a nice solid weight to it and no splinters so far, and honestly it looks good enough sitting on the coffee table.

The wood feels really smooth and solid in my hand, not like the plasticky ones we tried before. My baby loves gnawing on the neck part, and honestly it looks so cool sitting on our shelf that I don't mind it being out. It's already held up through some serious drool sessions and shows no wear.
